Chinese Burny Les Paul, Made in Dec 2002.
Bought from Steffen Buhl a little after the pandemic. Served me well, time to find a new home.
We theorise the previous owner wanted a more "authentic" vibe, so he slapped a decal from a more "famous brand" on the headstock. Looks decent — except the dot on the i is a bit high. I covered it with Sharpie. Wipes off with rubbing alcohol if your morals allow.
Your friends won't believe you either way, China made Burny's don't have fret nibs. :P
- Burny VH-4 pickups – classic PAF-style tone
- Gibson USA hardware – bridge, tail, knobs (plus decent pots/caps)
- PRS Zach Myers tuners
- Set up with 10–42s, very low action – almost too low, but easily adjusted (Truss rod is good and healthy, bridge is in immaculate condition).
Gigged and played hard – expect battle scars (see photos)
Not a nitro finish, but it looks great.
Come A/B it with any Epiphone in my rack. It blows them out of the water.
Selling cheap because of the headstock mod. Trading with a Classic Vibe Telecaster & Accept any serious bid (This is just the price I paid for it).
