Rare Breitling Eclipse Montbrilliant Chronometre Moonphase Limited Edition in stunning 18K yellow rose gold with full set of box and papers. EXTREMELY RARE WATCH. Best features with Arabic luminescent hour markers and gold accents around the dark dial. With gold currently trading at $5,500 per ounce or about 34,000 DKK, this watch is incredible value weighing in at 120 grams! That would be over 129,000 DKK alone just for scrap solid gold at that weight.
This watch makes a Rolex look boring. When is the last time you saw someone wearing one of these? Collection from my hone near Ringkøbing or I can post, possibly deliver in person after payment is made.
While often classed as 18K rose gold, I feel it is so close to yellow gold that it could be called either. Breitling uses a wide spectrum of hues from its different rose gold models. The face of the watch is beautiful and has many useful features. There are luminescent Arabic hour numbers and rose gold numbers and markers across the main dial and sub-dials that have a brilliant sheen. The moonphase complication gives the watch an added layer of functionality that sets it apart from many other luxury watches. The knurled bezel is a distinct feature associated with the prestige aircraft and automobile heritage of the brand. Indeed, the watch was owned by the head of the Bentley and Rolls Royce owners group before being made available for sale to the public here.
The engraved case back gives a lot for the owner to review and enjoy. It is distinct from other Montbrilliant examples with far more detail. With markets in turmoil and currencies plunging, investors are running to gold for stability and certainty. This is a special and substantial 18K gold watch with features and an aesthetic that will be desirable for as long as wristwatches are desirable. Given the rarity and exclusivity of this watch, it is exceptional value for money when compared with other prestige brands mass-producing much more common watches with less complications and features.
