1963 Guild DE-400 Duane Eddy Artist Signature thinline, hollow body, archtop guitar in natural Flame Mahogany. Rare off-catalog mahogany body. Brazilian rosewood fretboard. This was the first ever signature guitar for an endorsed rock guitarist. At this point in time, Duane Eddy was the most popular guitarist in the world and surpassed Elvis Presley in the UK as the most influential artist in music! He had already sold 12 million records by the time this guitar was made. Serial number 25599. This is the guitar and player that inspired John Lennon, George Harrison, Hank Marvin, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle and Marty Stuart. Incredible value for money. 63 year old guitar for the price of a brand new regular Gibson Custom Shop guitar.
