Original woodblock print/Originalt japansk træsnit, Fumio Fujita (*1933), motiv: Goldfish, Original japanese woodblock print (Ukiyo-e). Beautiful contemporary design made in 1974 by Fumio Fujita (*1933) This print showing a beautiful abstract design of a goldfish in its environment. Fumio Fujita is one of the most well-known contemporary sosaku-hanga (creative prints) artist. The artists carved the blocks themselves, which the famous Watanabe publisher of Tokyo then printed on hand-made Torinoko paper. Great for display, either singly or in groups (see my other entries). Print in very good condition, never mounted, some spots in the margin, see pictures for details. 16 cm x 14 cm + margins as shown.
