Equipped with two SIM card slots, the RUT955 offers exceptional connection redundancy. This dual-SIM capability allows the router to automatically switch between operators in case of weak signal, data limit, or network failure ensuring uninterrupted internet access, particularly vital for mobile environments like vehicles and boats.
Versatility in power options is a key advantage of the RUT955. While a 230V power supply is included, the device can also be powered directly from a 9-30V battery, making it perfectly suited for installation in diverse settings such as mobile vehicles, tractors, forestry machines, and marine vessels. Passive PoE support further simplifies deployment.
Connectivity is comprehensive with the RUT955, featuring two SMA female connectors for 4G antennas, three Ethernet LAN ports, and one WAN port, all supporting 10/100 Mbps speeds. It also includes two detachable WiFi antennas, providing robust wireless coverage via IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards.
Beyond its core networking capabilities, the RUT955 integrates a wide array of advanced functionalities including extensive VPN support (OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, etc.), Modbus TCP/RTU for industrial applications, and GNSS for precise location tracking.
