The D-Link DAP-3666 is a robust Wireless AC1200 Wave 2 Dual-Band Outdoor PoE Access Point, designed to provide high-speed, reliable Wi-Fi connectivity in challenging outdoor environments with its IP68-rated housing and advanced wireless features.
Engineered for the outdoors, the D-Link DAP-3666 features an IP68-rated water and dust-proof housing, ensuring exceptional durability and consistent performance in harsh weather conditions. Its operational temperature range of -30 to 60°C, combined with Gore-Tex Technology, repels liquid water while allowing heat and humidity to dissipate, making it a resilient solution for any outdoor deployment.
Experience superior wireless performance with IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 technology, delivering combined speeds of up to 1200 Mbps across dual bands (300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz). The DAP-3666 incorporates advanced features like MU-MIMO with beamforming and band steering optimizing data distribution to multiple devices simultaneously for a seamless and efficient user experience.
Connectivity and deployment are streamlined with two Gigabit LAN ports one of which supports 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows for both power and data transmission over a single cable, significantly simplifying installation in outdoor locations where power outlets may be scarce. The internal omni-directional antennas ensure broad and consistent signal coverage.
The DAP-3666 offers versatile operational modes, including Access Point, Wireless Client, Wireless Distribution System (WDS), and WDS with Access Point, providing flexibility to adapt to various network requirements. Centralized management is made easy with D-Link's free Nuclias Connect software, enabling efficient monitoring and remote configuration of multiple access points from a single interface.
Security is a top priority for the DAP-3666, which comes equipped with comprehensive encryption protocols such as WPA/WPA2/WPA3 Personal/Enterprise, 64/128-bit WEP, and MAC address filtering. Additional security features include an internal RADIUS server, SSID broadcast disable, and rogue AP detection, ensuring a secure and protected wireless network environment.
Beyond core functionality, this access point is WiFi4EU ready and Passpoint® certified (Hotspot 2.0 compliant), making it suitable for public Wi-Fi deployments. It also supports Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM™) for Quality of Service (QoS), allowing prioritization of critical traffic to ensure optimal performance for applications like voice and video.
