A unique sailing history in a fantastic location in the heart of Copenhagen.
Built by Abeking Rasmussen in Bremen, Germany, by the renowned designer and boatbuilder Henry Rasmussen. Svendborg Museum held a special exhibition on Henry Rasmussen as recently as 2022.
The boat was inspired by the 10m class designs and won 63 out of the 65 competitions it participated in.
The completely unique harbor space at Nordatlantens Brygge was awarded to the boat due to its style and cultural heritage, and it can likely be transferred to a new owner, as it was primarily given to the boat itself rather than to me as the owner.
The boat is very well maintained, with many original details such as the massive winches on the mast. Solid teak deck, etc.
Major maintenance in 2024, including deck re-caulking, engine upkeep, etc.
Around 2008, it was renovated at a shipyard in Aarhus with a new deckhouse, fiber reinforcement on the hull, etc., making it easy to maintain while preserving its charm.
It is a magnet for compliments when people pass by in its charming location in the city center.
Plenty of archival history from its competitive years, with articles in Berlin Yacht Magazine, among others.
A unique boat with a fantastic mooring spot. It is meant to be sailed, but the location itself is also a gem for many great moments in the Danish summer.
