Bianca Yachts, årg. 1986, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Diesel, hjemhavn Tyskland, Bianca 107 MKI, construction number 3, built in 1986, family-owned since 1994.
Very well-maintained owner's boat, which still shows the Danish quality boat building today. Jan Kjærulff's Riss is characterized by very good cruising characteristics and a high basic speed. Thanks to the high-quality sails and the finely trimmable rig, the boat can be sailed safely and quickly in both light winds and heavy weather. The already beautiful steering characteristics of the Kjærulff designs have been further refined by the self-aligning rudder bearings and a rudder blade with an optimized profile. The boat has always been kept technically and visually up to date. Virtually all fittings such as winches and blocks have been replaced with higher quality versions, making the boat very easy to handle in all weather conditions. In addition, the model's typical weak points such as the anchor locker cover, which draws moisture, the sealing of the bulkhead between the anchor locker and the foredeck, as well as the mast base and the weak jetties of the backstays were repaired. The boat spent the winter in indoor storage. After craning and rigging, it is immediately ready to sail. All the necessary maintenance and winter work has been completed.
The most important points in detail:
Teak deck from 2000, fully glued with epoxy at Janssen and Renkhoff in Kappeln. Treated annually with Boracol and in very good condition.
Engine: Yanmar 2GM20F dual-circuit cooled, 2021 general overhaul by Kieswo in Kappeln. Since then 280 operating hours
Saildrive: SD25 new 2015, oil seals new 2019, only replaced as a precaution, no water in the oil.
Folding propeller: Flex-o-fold, two-bladed, 16 inch
Diesel tank: Stainless steel with inspection opening, tank and lines cleaned 2023, since then only refueled with HVO100!
Underwater hull and steering gear:
Underwater hull protected against osmosis with Gelshield 2000, originally seven layers, four additional layers of Gelshield applied during refit in 2012. Antifouling: International Micron 350.
After the purchase, we discovered in the winter of 1994/95 that the oak block laminated under the mast base had rotted. As a result, the front three keel bolts were loose. The keel was removed for repair at Janssen and Renkhoff in Kappeln and the entire floor assembly was replaced. The cross-section of the floor wings was roughly doubled and an additional wing was laminated into the trailing edge of the keel. The hull laminate was also reinforced in the area of the floor assembly. It is probably the only Bianca 107 to have such a solid floor assembly. Over the years, there were two major groundings in Sweden, after which the boat was returned to the Janssen and Renkhoff shipyard for inspection and repair. The floor assembly and keel suspension were never damaged.
Rudder system converted to self-aligning roller bearings from Jefa, extremely smooth-running. Installation by Janssen and Renkhoff in Kappeln
Epoxy sandwich rudder blade with optimized profile from Spezialbootsbau/Wolfram Heibeck, new in 2017, since then even easier to steer and no more problems with sunshots. Coated with Coppercoat.
