SME Model 10 Precision Turntable with Tonearm and Nagaoka MP-500 Cartridge
Offered for sale is an SME Model 10 precision turntable complete with its original SME Model 10 tonearm and a Nagaoka MP-500 moving-magnet cartridge.
This turntable comes from the estate of a private collector of high-end audio equipment. The collection comprised carefully selected reference components from manufacturers including SME, Nagra, Wilson Audio, Sony Signature, Aurender and others. Much of the equipment saw only limited use and was maintained with exceptional care.
The turntable is presented in excellent cosmetic and technical condition. It has been carefully inspected and is in full working order. The finish is exceptionally well preserved, with no noticeable marks or signs of misuse.
The SME Model 10 has long been regarded as one of the benchmark suspended turntables in its class. Its massive precision-machined chassis, high-quality bearing assembly and superbly engineered tonearm provide outstanding speed stability, low noise and exceptional musical performance. Combined with the highly respected Nagaoka MP-500 cartridge, it offers a refined, detailed and natural presentation suitable for a wide range of musical genres.
