The first edition of this design was published in 1929. The woodblocks were lost during the war, and new woodblocks were carved during the 1950s to print new editions, with the involvement of Kawase Hasui. The current print was printed using these 1950s woodblocks, and not with those of 1929. It is from a recent edition.
