Gruben FAM

Gruben, årg. 1984, skrogmateriale Glasfiber-armeret plast, Blyfri, hjemhavn Gemeinde Südheide (Tyskland), Due to expansion, I am selling our beloved FAM with a heavy heart, fully equipped with approved trailer (TÜV until 2026) and regularly maintained outboard (Yamaha 8 hp long shaft). The boat was built in 1984 and was completely overhauled by a shipyard in 2019. In addition to the maintenance of the crank-operated, retractable ballast centerboard, the entire underwater hull was refurbished and provided with a high-quality graphite coating (5x VC Tar and 2x VC 17m). The hull and deck were also overhauled and the wooden bulkhead refurbished and fitted with a lockable Plexiglas sliding bulkhead. At the same time, the sails, shrouds and forestay were renewed and the outboard motor and outboard motor bracket were completely overhauled. In addition, the wheel bearings and tires of the self-braking HEKU trailer (with watertight scar) were replaced (total costs around EUR 5,000, invoices are available).

Further equipment: pulpit, guard rail, pushpit, bathing ladder, outboard bracket, furling jib system, boom vang, boom cover, 10-liter tank, fenders, mooring lines, anchor with chain lead.

We bought the FAM in 2008 from its loving previous owner (Karl, hence "Kaoti") in very good condition and used it exclusively during a total of 7 summer vacations of 3 weeks each in Denmark. Otherwise, the boat was covered and stored in a barn on a farm in the Südheide, where it can currently be viewed.
