MacGregor 26M

motorsejler MacGregor, årg. 2009, Glasfiber-armeret plast, Blyfri hjemhavn Stenungsund (Sverige), A rare opportunity to purchase a well-preserved example of the unique MacGregor 26M, a popular motor sailer for those who want a flexible boat for various activities. The sailboat, including engine and trailer, was purchased directly from MacGregor's representative in California and has CE certification for the EU. The boat has only been used during 2009 when we lived in California. After the boat was shipped to Sweden as moving goods in early 2010, it has been stored for family reasons and is almost in new condition.
The MacGregor 26 M is a trailerable sailboat with many innovative and special features. The boat has 6 comfortable berths, a practical galley, separate toilet space and a spacious cockpit with high sides. The boat is equipped with water ballast tanks and centerboard (daggerboard), making it easy to reach into shallow water and it has a strong outboard engine (50hp) that allows it to plane in away from 20 knots. The mast is folding and easy to rig/take down. The trailer is MacGregor's original single-axle aluminum trailer. However, the trailer's disk brakes are out of order.
