Desk/skrivebord- newly up-cycled!
A characterful and unique desk/multi-use /entrance hall piece of furniture. This desk is upcycled from a vintage secretary desk("chatol") and took many hours to complete. ?????
A combination of original mahogany wood surfaces and matt enamel painted (Beckers) surfaces give a great contrast in colour and texture. The wood is thoroughly cleaned, sanded and oiled with Junckers food safe oil. The woodoil is a nice deep Teak colour and will harmonise with other retro furniture. The legs and handles are steel in an enamel brass finish. The legs are mounted with bolts and can be removed for transportation. Height adjustable feet with feltpads are added for balancing on uneven floors.
The worksurface can extend out an extra 6cm. The writing surface height is 74.5cm, and floor to bottom of desk is 58cm.
