Jeg har lige hentet denne utrolige guitar i Woodstock Guitars, hvor den har været i kommision i et 1/2 år til en pris på 16.500. Nyprisen for de her håndbyggede Avalon er knap 30.000. Nu kan du købe den for samme beløb jeg ville få af Woodstock.
Oveni er der et genialt pickupsystem. Den lyder fremragende elektrisk.
Fra Avalon fik jeg dette: Thank you for your email and interest in Avalon Guitars. The D300 with serial 1770 was built in Newtownards, Northern Ireland in March/April 2013. This guitar was originally built for English singer/songwriter Karima Francis.
The Avalon D-300 is a masterfully crafted steel-string slope-shoulder dreadnought acoustic guitar, delivering exceptional tone and playability.
The slope-shoulder dreadnought body shape gives the D-300 a unique character—providing the full, bold sound expected from a dreadnought while offering a slightly warmer and more rounded tonal response. This design enhances comfort and makes the guitar particularly well-suited for both fingerstyle and flat-picking styles, offering versatility across genres.

Avalon Guitars was founded in 1984 in Northern Ireland, emerging from the legendary Lowden workshop. By the early 2000s, Avalon became its own entity, building upon decades of expertise in traditional luthiery while embracing modern innovations. Handmade in their Newtownards workshop, Avalon guitars have earned a reputation for their meticulous craftsmanship, premium materials, and rich, balanced tone.
