Available for sale is a Seiko 5606-7000 from 1969, a clean and elegant example of Seiko’s late ’60s design language. This particular piece stands out for its well-preserved case and dial, the dial has taken on a subtle creamy patina over time—giving it a warm, vintage charm.
The stainless steel case is unpolished, with the original brushed surfaces crisp and sharp, and the facets of the case lines still well-defined. It’s increasingly rare to find these early 5606 references in such honest condition.
Mechanically, the watch is in excellent shape. It was fully overhauled, including a complete service of the Caliber 5606 automatic movement. The quickset day/date function works, and new gaskets were installed during the service, ensuring the watch is ready to wear.
The watch is fitted with a high-quality handmade leather strap, which complements the vintage aesthetic beautifully and wears comfortably on the wrist.
