Crackle glass vase Friedegard Glatzle for Karlsruher workshop

Friedegard Glatzle made this delicate vase in 1949, just after the Karlsruher Majolika workshop reopened after the war. It has a pinkish grey tone from the clay of a bombed city. I assume. The cracks look like spiderwebs. It is soft and round like a chubby cheek.
Now that the Karlsruher workshop has just closed, the vase has the sad but dignified posture of an extinct animal.
