R-Type DX is a Game Boy Color video game released in 1999 by Nintendo in North America and Europe and by Epoch in Japan. The game cartridge includes the games R-Type and R-Type II, as well as enhanced versions of both that includes color.
R-Type DX is a compilation of R-Type I and R-Type II, released for the Game Boy Color in June 1999. It includes a "DX" mode that merges both titles into a single mission.
