The Nike SB ‘Milk Carton’ commemorates Jeff Han, owner of Shanghai’s first skateshop. A passionate skateboarder, Han was employed in a milk factory when he decided to leave his job to follow his dream of a career in the skate industry. Han’s dream came true in 1999 with the opening of FLY skate shop.
This SB Blazer captures Han’s story through its unique graphics. The shoe’s white and light blue build is inspired by Chinese milk cartons, with a missing person ad featuring Jeff Han himself. Chinese characters on the lateral heel translate to “Milk.” A Premium SB, this pair features high quality materials and a special set of laces that also reference the milk carton inspiration behind the design.
