Vækkeur, Jantar, mekanisk/rød/blå, 4 jewels, USSR, ca. 1950<, cCa. 13 cm høj, næsten 11,5 cm bred, 7 cm dyb.
Vintage bordur med vækkefunktion af mærket Jantar, produceret i 1950'erne og frem, et af flere mærker opstået via et fælles samarbejde mellem Polen/USSR (se historie). Klassisk rund form og på fod. I blåt metal og rød plast udenpå. Rød urskive med hvide markeringer/tekst. Visere og rung med romertal i guldfarve. Mekanisk optræk til henholdsvis urværk og alarm. Mærket på urskiven med bl.a. "Jantar", "4 jewels" og "Made in USSR".
God stand og virker fint (serviceret af urmager). Brugsspor. Knap til tidsindstilling ret stram.
Uret er serviceret af urmager, men der tages forbehold for eventuelle fremtidige forhold, idet der er tale om et vintage sovjetisk mekanisk urværk! Ofte må der påregnes en tidsforskel på ca. 2 minutter efter nogle dage.

"In 1956, a joint enterprise between Poland and the Soviet Union was established toward the creation of a new line of wristwatches. They were to be called "Blonie". It was agreed that the Polish Precision Mechanics Factory (Zaklady Mechaniczno-Precyzyjne) would manufacture these watches under license from the First Moscow Watch Factory. The first series of watches left the factory on October 24, 1959, and the Blonie brand name was first exhibited and sold at the Poznan International Fair in 1960.
Blonie’s first watches were assembled entirely out of Soviet-made parts, but the factory saw gradual incorporation of "in-house" components into the assembly line – beginning with watch cases and dials. Over time, in-house production expanded to movement parts, notably some scarce bridges bearing Blonie’s own trademark logo (see here). During the years that these Soviet/Polish hybrid watches were produced, they appeared under 16 different brand names: Alfa, Arras, Atlas, Baltyk, Blonex, Blonex Antymagnetyczny, Blonex Super, Blonie, Delfin, Dukat, Jantar, Kurant, Lech, Polan, Wars, and Zodiak."
