Kyma Sound Designer, Symbolic Sound Paca, Symbolic Sound Paca sound and music design computer, this hardware is necessary to run the Kyma X graphical signal flow programming software.
This model features two processors and 1GB RAM (upgradable to 2 GB).
It requires a firewire audio interface, a list of compatible audio interfaces can be seen on the Symbolic Sound website.
The Kyma system has been used in a wide range of sound design, for example in the movie Wall-e, and is also used for synthesis and musical compositions. The hardware is capable of doing advanced things, such as audio morphing, in real time.
This unit has only been used a handful of times.
Comes with the original case, power supply, and Kyma X manual.
