Material – The DRYRIDE Durashell™ 2-Layer Coated Custom Tonal Stripe Fabric features a micro-porous or hydrophilic coating applied directly to the backside of the DWR-finished outer face fabric to provide superior waterproof/breathable performance. In a 2-layer garment construction, various types of insulations and lining systems can be incorporated to fine-tune the overall warmth, comfort, and breathability of the jacket.
Tech Features – Critically taped seams keep the elements out, and the jacket-to-pant interface provides a 100% snow-proof seal. Even better, this year Burton made the jacket’s waist gaiter completely removable for a cleaner look in the off-season. The Mesh-Lined Pit Zips™ are made with Burton’s 100% polyester mesh linings that are a key part of the 2-layer jacket’s ability to wick away sweat and built-up moisture while also protecting the coating or lamination to ensure top-level waterproofing and breathability day after day. The Taffeta Wrapture Lining offers a crisp, high-end feel that is often woven using a mix of silk and synthetic fibers that wicks and breathes easy to keep you dry from the inside out.
