This a set of a ICON P1 Nano Controller and a D5 additional display.
Only used very few times for some cross-brand integration communication experiments.
The iCON P1-Nano features a customizable 4" OLED touchscreen. Using the provided iMAP software, you can organize DAW functions into 16 programmable fields across 5 color-coded layers, giving you a total of 80 actionable commands. This allows the screen to display track texts, parameter names, and values dynamically.
Using iMAP to Configure Display and Text
You can configure the specific text, button behaviors, and touchscreen layout in the iMAP software via simple drag-and-drop actions. You can set up shortcuts for automation, plugins, and custom macro commands, which update on the controller in real-time.
By default, the P1-Nano uses the Mackie Control Universal (MCU) or HUI protocols, which are natively limited in the amount of text they can pass to the hardware. Custom scripts allow the onboard OLEDs to display multi-line text (e.g., track numbers, specific plugin names, and panning positions) much more clearly.
Right now the community is thriving with clever users and tech-nerds, maxing out the communication between these devices and their integrated units, providing more functionality and more intuitive access to that functionality, via custom scripts and such.
