Stand: Skal repareres
1x Sony Playstation 4 Dual Shock Controller for spares / repair. Model: CUH-ZCT2E.
Condition: Defective, for spares/repair.
I received this controller with my Ps-4 and it’s in pretty bad shape. Whilst it does pass signal to when connected with a usb cable, it cannot be used wirelessly as the battery will not hold charge. The right-side vibration no longer works and pieces of it could be heard rattling around inside the casing.
Assessment: I have dismantled the controller and it looks like it may be repairable or otherwise most parts are in good working order for use in repairs.
The right-side servo motor which provides the vibration feedback is broken in half and no longer attached to the pcb. I’ve therefore left this out of the casing when reassembling it (if you don’t want it I can just throw it away). The battery is dead but would be easy to swap out as it just plugs into a small socket connector.
There is some damage to the interior of the plastic casing with some small pieces missing (this doesn’t appear to affect the controller when screwed together). Where possible I have repaired this with superglue.
