This is a great camera, film tested. See last pictures shot with Kodak Gold 200 film.
The camera is in great condition despite a light haze on the lens. In the front part of the lens only, see pictures 11 and 12. UV treated.
Serial number: 2750880 - Y6619. Production year is April 1983.
Canon Lens: 38mm 1:2.8 (4 elements in 4 groups). It is remarkably sharp, contrasty, and great for everyday street photography or casual snapshots.
Aperture: f/2.8 - automatic
Autofocus: Near-infrared triangulation active AF system. Unlike modern digital cameras, this primitive beam system allows it to focus flawlessly even in pitch-black darkness. 4 zones of autofocus from portrait to landscape.
Flash: Built-in pop-up flash. Manual, fully working, see last picture.
Manual ISO dial up from ISO 50 to ISO 1000.
Fully motorized, automatic film loading, advancing, and rewinding.
On and off switch: not the case on the first model.
Selftimer and pre-focus: fully functioning.
Power source: 2 standard AA batteries (not included).
Selling because I have too many point and shoot cameras and I am using Nikon L35AF aka Pikaichi, Mamiya M, Ricoh FF-3 AF or the Autoboy 1 more than the Autoboy 2.
Comes with original Canon bag and strap.
