While King Seiko and Grand Seiko often steal the spotlight, the Lord Matic (LM) Special line represents some of the finest watchmaking to come out of the Daini Seikosha factory. Produced for the discerning Japanese domestic market, this spectacular timepiece pairs a highly advanced, chronometer-capable movement with an absolutely mesmerizing dial execution.
The absolute focal point of this timepiece is its brilliant gradient blue sunburst dial. The color plays beautifully with the light, shifting from a vibrant oceanic blue at the center to a deep, inky navy at the outer edges. It is punctuated by sharp, faceted applied indices—featuring a unique gold-toned accent at the 12 o'clock position—and the proud Daini Seikosha lightning bolt logo. To ensure this incredible dial can be admired perfectly and without obstruction, a brand-new crystal has been expertly installed.
Moving away from a traditional steel bracelet, this piece has been thoughtfully paired with a brand-new, high-quality black leather strap. This combination grounds the striking blue dial, giving the watch a sharp, versatile look that transitions effortlessly from casual weekend wear to the office.
