Unica Radio was the brand name under which Rudolph Schmidt produced radios.
The company started in 1915 importing cars and motorcycles from the USA .
After a trip to the USA in 1919 , Rasmus began importing 'De Forest' radios. Production of his own radios began gradually in 1924.
The name Unica came into use in 1925. For a while , accumulators and irons were also sold .
