Totaly refurbished, reliable, and made to last steel framed road bike.

With a more “touring style” riding position (more comfortable/ less sporty).
- Serviced and tuned
- New gear and brake cable and housings
- New brake pads
- New handlebar tape
- Mudguards
- Dual pull Dia-Compe brake levers
- Suntour 2 X 6 groupset (chainrings great condition.
- Suntour stem mount friction shifters
- New rear tyre (frame can fit fairly wide “off-road” tyres)
Baggage racks can be mounted to create a bomb-proof touring bike.
These bike were made with parts that can be easily serviced /fixed without having to replace individual parts with basic bike tools.
Frame is steel, paintwork in good condition with small scratches and discoloration/ superficial rust but nothing that effects performance or safety.
(In my opinion..) 1000% better than “modern” mid priced road bikes which are basically single use plastic.
This bike has lasted 50 years and it will likely last another 50 if treated nicely.
