Electro-acoustic guitar. The Taylor 614ce has helped define what many players know as that classic Maple sound. The model has changed and shifted in different directions over the years, but it remains a mainstay of the Taylor line. Throughout its history, the 614ce has always featured a Grand Auditorium body with cutaway, and only Maple will do for the back and sides!
This Taylor 614ce dates to 2008, and while many examples from this era have a three-piece back, this one has a beautifully book-matched two-piece Maple back. This 614ce is very clean cosmetically. Looks like new.
The sound this 614ce produces is exactly what you expect. It's that classic transparent Maple sound with a pronounced mid-range and incredible clarity and definition across the register. Every note has a beautiful bell-like quality, and there is plenty of bass response and high-end shimmer to round out the sound.
