A beautifully preserved vintage automatic from International Watch Co. Schaffhausen (IWC) dating to the early 1960s.
This watch houses the legendary Calibre 854 automatic movement featuring IWC’s renowned Pellaton winding system, widely regarded as one of the most durable and technically interesting automatic systems produced during the golden era of Swiss watchmaking.
This example has recently been professionally overhauled by a master watchmaker in Kagawa, Japan, with documentation photos included showing the movement during service. The watch runs well and is ready to be worn and enjoyed.
The dial features the desirable applied IWC logo and applied baton hour markers, giving the watch a very elegant and clean vintage aesthetic. The silver sunburst dial pairs beautifully with the polished steel case and classic leather strap.
