This is a rare classic. Ralph Gleason doing some fine reporting on the Airplane, the Grateful Dead and the San Francisco scene. I had a copy as a teenager and wished I'd kept it considering what it's worth. Great writing and a good history lesson for the youngin's.
Ralph Joseph Gleason var en amerikansk musikkritiker og klummeskribent. Han bidrog i mange år til San Francisco Chronicle, var stiftende redaktør af magasinet Rolling Stone og medstifter af Monterey Jazz Festival. Han var en banebrydende rockkritiker og hjalp San Francisco Chronicle med at gå ind i rocktiden.
