Do you have an older Pro Tools DigiLink interface not in use? The DiGiGrid DLI is the perfect way to bring it back into a modern networked system. This unit is a store display model and includes the original box and all original accessories.
The DiGiGrid DLI is a networking bridge that connects Pro Tools HD, HDX, and HD Native systems to the Waves SoundGrid platform. With two DigiLink ports providing up to 64 channels of digital input and output, it expands your existing hardware and integrates SoundGrid DSP processing and I/O.
The DLI operates in two modes: I/O mode and SGP mode.
In I/O mode, your Pro Tools system remains the playback engine while the DLI connects SoundGrid I/O devices and DSP servers. This allows you to expand your studio and offload plugin processing to external SoundGrid DSP servers, improving performance and scalability.
In SGP mode, the DLI allows DigiLink-compatible interfaces to work with native DAWs such as Logic, Cubase, Nuendo, Ableton Live, and Pro Tools Native. It bridges your DAW with SoundGrid applications using ASIO or Core Audio drivers and enables external DSP processing.
The DLI connects via a single Cat 5e or Cat 6 Ethernet cable and includes the complete SoundGrid software package, including SoundGrid Studio, StudioRack, and the eMotion ST mixer. With a SoundGrid DSP server, you can run large plugin sessions with ultra-low latency of just 0.8 ms.
