It is fully water and dustproof according to IP68 rating, so you can safely take it to the pool or the sandy beach. And that's not all – the speaker is also designed to withstand drops. Even if it slips from your hand from a meter high onto concrete, the music continues uninterrupted. (But don't throw it intentionally, organizing parties is more fun!)
With a single charge, you can enjoy music for up to 14 hours. When you need a little extra time on the dance floor or for ambiance, the Playtime Boost function allows you to squeeze a couple more hours of playback time from the battery. Want to share good beats with a wider audience? With Auracast™ technology, you can wirelessly connect two Flip 7 speakers for stereo sound or link multiple Auracast™-compatible JBL speakers together, so music plays seamlessly over a larger area.
Thanks to the new PushLock attachment system, carrying the speaker is even easier. Attach it to your backpack, wrist, or even a bike handlebar with the included carabiner clip and wrist strap. Audiophiles are treated to lossless audio quality support via the USB-C connection (requires a compatible audio source and content). With the JBL Portable app, you can customize sound settings and keep the speaker's software up to date. Additionally, the Flip 7 is manufactured with the environment in mind: it uses 77% recycled plastic and the speaker grille is 100% recycled fabric. The packaging is FSC-certified paper and printed with soy ink.
