Here you have the chance to get a great sounding Dobro ready to play live for relatively small money!
I bought this guitar 13 years ago new for 900 Euros in Berlin. It then got a special handmade bone bridge that significantly enhanced the sound to a very loud and clear sounding dobro that’s normally hard to find in that price range. Also got an original Flatpup pickup, which is a very microphonic sounding humbucker especially made for resonator guitars made in Austria by Elmar Zeilhofer, which now has the brand Sixtus flat guitar pickups.
All works on the guitar had been done by Johannes Reyels in Berlin, one of the best guitar builders I know.
Right now it is set up with pretty heavy strings and high action for primary slide playing in open D.
I took of Republik’s brand sticker on the headstock after it was modified cause i thought it undermines the quality of the guitar. But it was originally this model:
