A dark, woody, and aromatic scent that is a slightly sweeter, more sophisticated flanker to the cult favorite amongst perfume enthusiasts, Encre Noire. A complex scent that feels like it should be in the same range with niche perfumes from houses like Xerjoff or Nishane. Often described as a midnight walk in a dark, dense forest after a rainstorm. Mysterious, inky, and cold. In addition to the green vetiver and cypress, à l’Extrême version has added notes of smoky incense, earthy patchouli, and sweetness from benzoin and sandalwood. Superb performance with moderate projection making it long lasting but inoffensive, perfect for everyday wear and night outs. A unique scent amongst the sea of Dior Sauvage (😂). It’s a rather masculine scent, but because of the added slight sweetness, it’s more suitable than the original version for women who are looking for a unique, androgynous scent. Comes in a beautiful heavy glass bottle with natural wood cap that’s a luxurious add to your collection.
