The Wild Country Hoolie 2 tent is a fine example of a classic two pole tunnel tent. This design of tent is exceptionally easy to pitch and offers loads of internal space thanks to the near vertical side walls and large ceiling area. At the end of a long day out all you want is to quickly get your tent up, get a brew on and chill out and because the Hoolie can be pitched as one, with the inner and outer connected it goes up very quickly. Simply insert the colour coded poles, peg out the front of the tent, pull the rear pegging points to tension the tent and peg out the back.
The flysheet is made from lightweight, fully waterproof PU coated ripstop polyester with a 4000mm hydrostatic head (the standard for waterproofing is 1500mm) and the tough, waterproof groundsheet is made from a more durable ripstop polyester that is PU coated to give a 6000mm hydrostatic head. The twin poles are made from Superflex Alloy, a strong lightweight material that remains strong and durable when under tension and throughout repeated flexing. Each pole is colour coordinated to match the corresponding pole sleeve which makes pitching the tent even easier. The Hoolie is supplied with the inner and outer attached but they can be separated to split the weight amongst a group or the fly can be pitched on its own if you want to go super lightweight or just need a minimal shelter.
The front of the Hoolie extends to form a roomy vestibule for storing kit out of the elements and once enter through the single half mesh front door and it's all closed up there are vents at each end to help reduce condensation. The Hoolie is supplied with quality alloy V pegs and reflective guy lines.
