Seasonic, Corsair, ASUS osv. kunne ikke finde ud af at lave en ordentlig, bedre, strømforsyning, så måtte importere en fra USA.
Var den mest stille 1000W PSU på daværende tidspunkt, derfor jeg købte den, pga. livsændringer fik jeg dog aldrig brugt den. Blev importeret fra USA, de var de eneste der havde denne model, der var bedre end dem i EUssr.

This is the third Kingwin PSU that we have had the chance to evaluate. In the past we have reviewed the Kingwin Stryker Fanless 500W and the LZP-550, both platinum units that obtained an Editor's Choice from us. Today's review sample, the Lazer Platinum 1000W or LZP-1000, also features Platinum efficiency and it is made by Super Flower, Kingwin's favorite OEM which as it seems tries to knock Delta and Seasonic off their thrones. The LZP-1000 is the flagship of the Lazer Platinum series which includes five units with capacities ranging from 550W to 1000W. All are 80 Plus Platinum certified, as the name of the series implies and feature a semi-modular cabling system with the characteristic crystal cube connectors on the modular cables.
According to Kingwin, whose products currently are available only in the USA, the LZP-1000 incorporates the ECO Intelligent Thermal Control System which ensures that the cooling fan will run as quietly as possible and efficiently on the same time. Also the LZP-1000 has a small red switch on its front side, through which the user can select between two operation modes: Eco mode which is preselected and up to a certain internal temperature deactivates the fan and normal mode where the fan is always working and adjusts its speed automatically according to the PSU's internal temperature.
To sum up, I think that this is a great PSU with an even greater price (although in Europe the similar Super Flower Golden King 1000W can be found at a lower price). For everyone that needs a high capacity, platinum unit that outputs very low to zero noise, since it goes fanless in most cases, the Kingwin LZP-1000 is a one way road. Its strongest competitor is the mighty Seasonic Platinum 1000, which however costs 50 bucks more and can be really loud once its fan starts working at full speed. The latter of course is not a very realistic scenario since all Platinum units have limited energy dissipation so most of the time their fans operate at lower RPMs producing low noise output.'
