The Long Ryders were one of the greatest bands to come out of L.A. in the 1980s and were one of the high runners of the "Paisley Underground" scene. The "Paisley Underground" movement was a distinctive genre in the mid 80s. Reviving the clean, chiming textures of folk rock, but with a more psychedelic bent to the sound. Determined to keep the spirit of the 60s alive through their music and appearance. This DVD captures their unique blend of punk attitude, 60s rock, an traditional country recorded Live at the Roxy in L.A., in 1986.
