Backgroubd for This book was that By the mid 1970s the two popular sports cars produced by the new British Leyland were showing their age. (TR6 and MGB).
What the company needed was a smart, modern sports car and the TR7, designed to replace both the MGB and the Triumph TR6, was the result.
. Initially available as a two-seat coupe, the car went on sale in Britain in 1974.
There was much praise for the author in writing this book, it is a great read even if you are not exclusively into TR7 because it gives a behind the scenes look at the motor industry
