The BDM-18-M packs all of Bedell's commitment to quality guitar construction into a smaller, orchestra-sized acoustic. Using finely selected tonewoods, this one offers outstanding tone and projection.
The BDM-18-M uses an aged solid Alaskan Sitka Spruce top with laminated mahogany back and sides for a big, warm tonal picture. The Sitka top combined with the smaller size of the orchestra body type lends a crisper character to the sound which works especially well in outdoor environments. Sitka spruce produces an even, clear response from low to high tones
The dovetail jointed neck is made of mahogany with a comfortable rosewood fretboard, and the smaller ,slim C size compared to a dreadnought gives this guitar a natural playability.
