Beskrivelse
The Yale Code Handle offers keyless access control for interior doors, providing a convenient and secure solution for various environments. It features code-based locking, automatic and manual locking functions, and is easy to install without wiring.
The Yale Code Handle simplifies personal access and access control. With the Yale Code Handle, you can confidently leave your belongings in your office during lunch breaks, and meeting participants don't need to carry their computers or other items with them during breaks. The code handle offers an easy solution for locking interior doors regardless of time or place.
For commercial spaces, the Code Handle is a simple and affordable solution for restricting customer access to break rooms, offices, and storage areas. Similarly, schools can enhance the security of their premises by installing the handle on doors to supply rooms that would normally be left unlocked. Please note that the Code Handle is not suitable for outdoor use or for locking main entrance doors.
Examples of suitable applications include offices and conference rooms, shared storage facilities, retail back rooms, break areas, customer restrooms, home offices and 'staff only' areas.
This model, Yale CHD 8811, is designed for locking interior doors in private homes and is compatible with ABLOY interior door lock cases such as 2014, 2011, 2018, and 2040. The Yale CHD 8814 model, also available, is a functional solution for locking interior doors in commercial properties, typically used with ABLOY 4190 and LC190 series lock cases, as well as ABLOY 4290 and LC290 lock cases.
The handle is made from brushed stainless steel and satin-chromed zinc, ensuring durability and a stylish appearance. It has been rigorously tested to EN 1906 Grade 2 standards, enduring over 100,000 openings and 500,000 button presses. It operates on two CR2 3V Lithium batteries, providing up to 60,000 openings.
It is rated IP40 for indoor use only and has been fire-tested for 60 minutes according to EN 1363. Further tests include 48-hour corrosion testing, EMC compliance, and torsion testing. For cleaning, use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent solution to avoid damaging the electronics; do not wet the buttons or use strong solvents.
