Hi! I am a dog trainer and canine behaviourist in Sweden, and I’m now looking for a female Working Cocker Spaniel (FT Cocker), 1–3 years old, to become my next working partner and family member.
I’m looking for a female dog who is:
• Willing to work and full of energy
• Happy, optimistic, and enthusiastic
• Social and confident around people, children, and other dogs
• Environmentally stable and not easily startled
• Curious and eager to learn new tasks
• Not spayed
• Registered/pedigree
The plan is to train her in specialist scent detection, such as water leak detection or invasive species. She will be my next working dog. Dogs living with us get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation – but they also need to be able to relax and cuddle with our children (ages 4 and 6) on the sofa in the evenings.
About us:
We live in northern Sweden with the forest right behind our house and a large fenced garden. I work from home, so the dogs almost always have company. Our daily life includes long walks, mental enrichment, and training such as nosework, agility, rally obedience, and lots more fun activities. A dog living with us gets an active life, plenty of love, and lots of enjoyable work.
