The camera is equipped with a Live-MOS sensor which combines the color output of CCD with the qualities (especially in high iso performance) of the CMOS sensor.
Most importantly, the camera is one of the first to have Live View and a stunning B&W jpeg simulation. Also available are the sharpest lenses for the 4/3 system.
All in a beautiful, Leica-designed packaged.
