This is a professional-use Gore-Tex Pro shell made by The North Face specifically for ski patrollers and instructors. These jackets were never sold in retail stores – they were produced B2B only for mountain resorts and outdoor organizations.
The internal production code F15 indicates Fall/Winter 2015.
The layout, construction, pocket placement, Recco integration, and rugged fabric match TNF’s Free Thinker / Patrol platform used for ski-school and ski-patrol contracts. These jackets are slightly different from consumer Free Thinker jackets: heavier-duty fabrics, reinforced wear zones, simplified colorways, and specific pockets required by resorts.
This one was issued to instructors at Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), one of the most respected ski resorts in North America.

Condition
Used but structurally solid. Shows signs of professional use: small patches on bottom hem and general wear on outer fabric (see photos), but nothing that affects performance. All zippers and toggles work.
