Stand: Brugt - men i god stand
FOR SALE: Vintage 1972 Rickenbacker 4001 Black Jetglow
Jack Bruce (Cream), Chris Squire (Yes), Peter Quaife (Kinks), John Entwistle (The Who), Roger Glover (Deep Purple), Mike Rutherford (Genesis), Geddy Lee (Rush), and Lemmy Kilmister (Hawkwind, Motörhead) played 4001 RICs. The 4001 model has written ROCK N ROLL all over it.
This black on black Jetglow Rickenbacker 4001 plays with a thunderous and distinctive voice that only these old goddesses have. It is in good condition with repair marks on the back of the corpus where earlier a protecting studded leather body was placed. Jackplate serialization (LH 739) and the instrument’s features appear to conform to 1972 although I believe the bridge, pickup cover, pickguard, and knobs are aftermarket and/or from a different year. The pickups and wiring harness are clearly Rickenbacker though the pot codes are 1377606, indicating that they may be from 1976.
The bass comes with a contemporary RIC hardshell 4001 case. Payment method: PayPal.
