92 points William Kelley (Decanter): "This is lovely, with a nose of wild berries, liquorice, burning embers and even violets. A deep, full-bodied palate with a chassis of ripe, refined tannins and juicy acids. Like the Clos du Cellier Aux Moines, a great purchase this year. Drinking Window: 2020-2035. (Jan 2017)".
90-93 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here the ripe but pure and attractively airy nose exhibits notes of cherry, red and dark currant, anise and a whisper of wood. There is a lovely sense of vibrancy to the well-delineated, intense and solidly concentrated flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the serious, firm and ever-so-mildly austere finale. As is often the case this beauty appears to have the best upside development potential and is worth checking out. Drink: 2022+. (Oct 2016)".
