Stand: Som ny - ingen synlige brugsspor
Den ikoniske LP er inspirerede til filmen "The Greatest Night in Pop" (2024) -det særlige var, at ALLE artisterne var samlet på denne aften -hvad en sky Dylan (og andre) ikke så ud til at være glade for!
Vinyl står som ny, en lille snert støv og ridse på cover. Måske nok bedre stand end pladen til 450 kr på eBay!
"We are the World" (1985) er nok den mest berømte velgørenhedsplade i historien og bød på hele 2 støttesange fra hhv USA (Michael Jackson/Lionel Ritchie osv) og Canada (bl.a. Bryan Adams, Neil Young og Joni Mitchell)
+ 9 andre sange doneret af deltagende kunstnere.

På pladen kan høres bl.a. Dan Ackroyd, Harry Belafonte (initiativtager), Lindsey Bucklingham (Fleetwood Mac), Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, Hall & Oates, La Toya Kackson, Michael Jackson, Al Jarreau, Waylon Jennings, Billy Coel, Cindy Lauper, Bette Midler, Willie Nelson, Steve Perry, Pointer Sisters, Lionel Riche (der skrev We are the World med Jackson), SMokey Robinson, Diana Roos, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Rina Turner, Dionne Warwick og Stevie Wonder (og mange andre) -en lignede samling er vist ikke set før på ét sted!
På det canadiske bidrag "Norhtern Light" (af bl.a. Bryan Adams, optaget i Vancouver) kan høres bl.a. Bryan Adams (som skrev sangen), Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Anne Murray, Neil Young og Oscar Peterson.

Side A slutter med title track "We Are the World" by USA for Africa, co-written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones, featuring numerous artists.
Desuden "4 the Tears In Your Eyes" by Prince and the Revolution, "Trapped" by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, "Total Control" by Tina Turner -samt "Tears Are Not Enough" by Northern Lights, a Canadian equivalent featuring artists like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, før den slutter med USA' We are the World.
Side B - "A Little More Love" by Kenny Rogers, "Trouble in Paradise" by Huey Lewis and the News, "If Only for the Moment, Girl" by Steve Perry, "Good for Nothing" by Chicago,"Just a Little Closer" by The Pointer Sisters.
Dokumentarfilmen "The Greatest Night in Pop", 2024 Netflix, explores the making of the song, which took place on a single night in January 1985.
The Collaboration: The film features new interviews with stars who participated, such as Bruce Springsteen, Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, and Cyndi Lauper, to share the behind-the-scenes story.The documentary highlights the chaos of bringing so many artists together, including moments like Stevie Wonder doing his best Bob Dylan impression to help Dylan sing his part.
