Effective and discreet light therapy lamp: Lumie Desklamp II is light therapy disguised as a regular desk lamp. It delivers a brightness equivalent to 10,000 lux at a distance of 50 cm, thanks to the LED bulbs that emit extra light in the blue light spectrum.
Because the lamp looks like a regular table lamp, it can fit into most office or home environments. The treatment time is approximately 30 minutes at 50 cm and 120 minutes at 100 cm.

Lumie Desklamp II has a smart design and functions as a regular desk lamp. Since it does not look like a light therapy lamp, you can discreetly take light therapy while you work or read. It can be included in all types of office environments.
The brightness actually corresponds to 10,000 lux at a distance of 50 cm. The built-in LEDs emit extra active blue light in the light spectrum, which controls the circadian rhythm. The lamp emits significantly more blue light than light therapy lamps, which only emit narrow-spectrum blue light.
Since LED emits extra short wavelengths in the blue light range of the light spectrum, it cannot be directly compared to traditional light sources. The actual lux number for the Lumie Desklamp II is 2,500 lux, which is misleading in terms of efficiency. Lux meters measure the total energy spectrum and therefore the intensity of LEDs is measured in photons/cm2 instead of lux. The LEDs built into the Lumie Desklamp II are more efficient than normal full-spectrum light already at 1/10 of 10,000 lux.
