If you only had to remember one piece of advice to progress quickly in wing foiling, it would be to choose easy equipment on which you immediately feel comfortable. You will always benefit from choosing the least radical option because you will progress way faster on equipment that you fully master, than on equipment that is too technical, and ultimately frustrating.
The HIPE First 6'6 offers the most generous dimensions and therefore the best stability on the water, and excellent control on touchdowns when flying. A board on which you fall much less, which means more time spent learning the basics of winging and taking off on the foil. As soon as you take off, the dimensions of the HIPE First are forgotten in favor of the intense sensations of your first flights.
