The ART Pro VLA II is a 2U two-channel Vactrol-based optical tube levelling amplifier designed for professional studio and live sound applications. The unit utilizes optical isolators and 12AT7 vacuum tubes to deliver smooth, transparent compression with a natural feel.. The Vactrol technology ensures a highly musical response, making it ideal for vocals, instruments, and mix bus processing. The stock tubes in this units have been replaced with high quality TUNG-SOL 12AT7W 6201 values to give better clarity and significantly reduced noise
Both channels have controls for variable threshold, ratio, attack, and release controls, allowing for precise compression adjustments. XLR and 1/4-inch TRS balanced inputs and outputs provide professional connectivity, while large VU meters and LED indicators offer clear visual monitoring, allowing the Pro VLA II to deliver professional-grade results with warmth and musicality (see review at https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/art-pro-vla-ii).
