For sale is a beautiful Yashica 40mm f/1.7 lens, professionally converted from a classic Yashica GX rangefinder camera to a native Leica M-mount.
Features:
Portable: Incredibly small and lightweight, making it the perfect everyday carry or walk-around lens.
Vintage Appearance: A unique appearance that you can't find on other Leica lenses. a classic silver and black body with a beautiful golden lens coating.
M-mount: Flawlessly converted to Leica M-mount with accurate rangefinder coupling. Minimum Focus Distance of just 0.4m.
Condition:
Optics: The glass is in perfect condition. There are no scratches, haze, or fungus on the lens elements.
Internals: There is a minimal amount of internal dust, which is common for a lens of this age and has absolutely no effect on image quality.
Image rendering:
This lens is full of character. It's incredibly sharp when stopped down to f/4. It produces a unique rendering with a slight vintage swirly bokeh and beautiful bubble bokeh. I have uploaded several sample photos for you to see its unique charm. The image quality definitely exceeds the price of this lens.
